You have written the truth.<br />As you say, and as you see in your collage there's a feeling of longing. Perhaps longing is intrinsic to creativity, itself. Maybe, and "not in a bad way," longing is what moves us from one place to another, one stage to another, one purpose to another. Longing is a compelling force. Perhaps the tension or discomfort of longing comes from the goals we set for ourselves, rather than the selfless, playful, curious, loving and creative acts that get us there.<br />You have a strong, sure voice, Ann -- the voice of an artist.
